Young children must be made to understand the importance of discipline in every way possible. Discipline is the cornerstone in the character-building process of any child. Hence, it is not necessary that children must be given lessons on discipline only in schools. Even after school programs must impart values like discipline with as much responsibility as the schools do. Though after school programs often provide extra-curricular activities for the children, even then they must include disciplinary values in such fun activities. In fact, this way the children would learn more about the value of discipline than by any other way.
